Curriculum preparation: I work with students from 7th grade through their
senior year in High school to help them select course that will prepare
them for the college of their choice.
Effective Use of MyRoad: MyRoad is the College Board's easy-to-use,
interactive website designed to help students explore majors, colleges
and careers. Each student who has taken the PSAT will receive a free
account to MyRoad. I work with the students to maximize this tool which
helps them to learn more about themselves,research careers, majors, and
colleges,apply to college and how to succeed in college.
Test Preparation and Evaluation: By reviewing all test scores including SAT,
PSAT, and ACT, I assist students whose test scores are substantially below
the average of the college or university of their choice, I provide tips on
how to improve their chances of admission and on how to improve their
scores.
Personal Interview coaching: The admissions interview is a chance to show
the interviewer that you are more than test scores and grades. By
coaching students on the interview process, it allows the student to feel
comfortable talking about their achievements.
College Application Assistance: I offer a college application twice a year.
This allows the student to evaluate colleges and get their applications
completed. During this boot camp we work on the essays and develop
timelines for the completion and submission of all college applications. For
